The Department of Economics at KR’s Sree Narayana College, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Calicut Port City, hosted an Expert Talk on the topic of ‘Union Budget 2024-25’ on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Audio Visual Theatre. The event commenced with a welcome address delivered by Mr. Shijil K, Head of the Department of Economics. The program was officially inaugurated by Dr. V Anil, the Principal of the college. Mrs. Thahira KS, Assistant Professor of Economics, introduced the guest speaker. CA Sujith Kumar TN, a Chartered Accountant and Management Consultant, conducted the session, discussing the opportunities and challenges presented by the Union Budget for the fiscal year 2024-25. The session extended for four hours, during which tea and snacks were provided to the attendees. The talk was highly engaging, covering all aspects of the subject matter.
