“Our Student Our Pride”

The Student Induction Program (SIP) at our college is designed to welcome and integrate newly admitted students into the academic, cultural, and social fabric of the institution. The program plays a vital role in helping students make a smooth transition from school to college life.

Organized at the beginning of the academic year, the induction program spans several days and includes sessions on:

  • Introduction to the College – Vision, mission, history, and infrastructure.
  • Campus Tour – Familiarizing students with various departments, facilities, and support services.
  • Interaction with Faculty and Mentors – Orientation by heads of departments, faculty members, and class advisors.
  • Academic Orientation – Overview of curriculum structure, choice-based credit system, evaluation methods, and learning platforms.
  • Rules and Regulations – Code of conduct, anti-ragging guidelines, and examination policies.
  • Motivational and Career Talks – Sessions by experts, alumni, and professionals to guide students in goal setting and career planning.
  • Value Education & Life Skills – Emphasis on ethics, discipline, time management, and soft skills.
  • Extracurricular Exposure – Introduction to clubs, NSS, sports, arts, and other co-curricular opportunities.

The program aims to build confidence, develop interpersonal skills, and inculcate a sense of belonging among students. It fosters emotional bonding and creates a student support network right from the outset, ensuring that each student feels welcomed, motivated, and ready to embrace college life.
