The LitSoc of English Department has conducted the “FACE PAINTING” competition on 09.08.2024 at Open Space near Entrance remembering Nagasaki Day. The theme of the competition was ‘War and Humanity’. Students from I, IIand III year of various departments participated in the event. In Total 14 teams participated in the competition, each team was of 2 members.
Ms.Shahla OP, from Department of English delivered the welcome address and announced the rules and regulations of the event. Competition started at 1:45 pm and ended by 2:45 pm ( 1 hour). Aswathi and Anagha from IIIrd year Psychology grabbed Ist prize and Hridya and Malavika from 1st year BA English got Second Prize. First and Second Prizes were awarded with certificates and momentous by Principal Anil. V.
This event helped the students to bring out their creative ideas and talent. The students got an opportunity to portray atrocities of war and the faith of humanity. It was really a creative session which exhibited the artistic skills of the students.
