The Women’s Development Cell (WDC) of KR’s Sree Narayana College, Valanchery organized a Disaster Management Training Programme on 22nd August 2025. The session was led by Mr. Vivek C, Fire & Rescue Officer, Tirur, who shared valuable insights on disaster preparedness, response, and safety measures.

The training aimed to create awareness among students about handling emergency situations such as fire accidents, natural calamities, and other unforeseen hazards. Practical demonstrations and interactive discussions made the session highly engaging and informative.

This initiative by WDC highlighted the importance of equipping students with essential life skills and fostering a culture of safety and preparedness in society.
