AI and English Literature

“LitSoc”, the Department of English organized a thought-provoking program on “AI and English Literature” on 24/02/2025. The event aimed to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and literary studies, and its potential applications in academic and creative pursuits. Anjali.P, Assistant Professor, Department of English, warmly welcomed the attendees and introduced the resource person.

The Resource Person, Sreeni P, Department of Computer Science delivered an insightful talk on AI and its various tools, highlighting their utility in project-based work and writerly endeavors. The program concluded with a engaging Q&A session, where participants interacted with the resource person, followed by a vote of thanks by Shahla OP, Assistant Professor Department of English and by Mufradh Sanan, II year BA English.

The program offered a unique opportunity for students and faculty to engage with the cutting-edge field of AI and its applications in English literature, fostering a deeper understanding of the intersection of technology and literary studies.
