The Department of Computer Application, KR’s Sree Narayana College, Valanchery, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), AICTE, and the Kerala Startup Mission – Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC), successfully organized the India AI Impact Pre-Summit Event featuring an Expert Talk on “Safe and Trusted AI” on Thursday, 29 January 2026 at 10:00 AM in the AVT Hall.
The event was conducted as part of the preparatory initiatives aligned with the India AI Impact Summit 2026, with the objective of promoting awareness about ethical, responsible, and secure Artificial Intelligence practices among students and faculty members.
The session was led by Dr. Haris U, Head of the Department of Computer Science, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, who served as the resource person. Dr. Haris U delivered an insightful talk highlighting the importance of AI safety, trustworthiness, data privacy, transparency, and ethical governance in modern AI systems. He also discussed real-world challenges and best practices for building responsible AI solutions.
The program witnessed active participation from students and faculty members. The interactive discussion that followed the session enabled participants to clarify their doubts and gain a deeper understanding of the societal and technological implications of Artificial Intelligence.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, marking a successful step toward fostering innovation, ethical awareness, and technological responsibility in alignment with national AI initiatives.
