🎯 Objective: To encourage students to critically examine the role of makeup in contemporary society and explore its influence on beauty standards, self-image, confidence, and social expectations. The debate aims to provide a platform for students to express diverse perspectives on whether makeup serves as a means of self-expression and empowerment or becomes a social pressure and personal burden.
💡 Expected Outcome: The programme aims to develop students’ critical thinking, communication, and debating skills while promoting awareness of societal beauty standards, body image, and individual choices. It also encourages students to respect diverse perspectives and recognise the importance of self-confidence and self-acceptance beyond external appearance.
