The Kerala State Aquatic Conservation Council (KSACC) in association with KR’S Sree Narayana College, Valanchery and its Nature Club is organizing a special environment-focused event titled “Kanakam Villayum Kashumav” (Gold and Cashew).
As part of this initiative, 700 cashew tree saplings will be planted under KSACC’s Hybrid Initiative, symbolizing a strong step towards environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation.
The event aims to raise awareness about the ecological and economic importance of cashew trees and to promote student involvement in nature preservation activities.
The program will be inaugurated by Mr. Mathu Sebastian, Governing Body Member, KSACC, on 28th October 2025 at 3:00 PM at KR’S Sree Narayana College, Valanchery.
Through this initiative, the organizers hope to inspire the community to engage in green practices and contribute to building a cleaner, greener future.
