An Orientation Program on the add-on courses “UPSKILL_IT” was organized on 18th September 2025 at 10.00 am in the AVT Hall of KR’s Sree Narayana College, Valanchery. The program began with a welcome session, highlighting the significance of add-on courses in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. Faculty members, students, and invited guests attended the orientation with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to provide a clear overview of how UPSKILL_IT courses are designed to enhance the technical and professional skills of students, thereby making them more competitive in today’s job market.

The session was led by Mr. Gopikrishnan, CEO of Grapegenix Technical Solutions, Thrissur, who served as the resource person. In his address, he elaborated on the need for students to continuously update themselves with emerging technologies and practical skills. He explained the wide career opportunities that these courses can unlock and shared real-world industry experiences to inspire the participants. Mr. Gopikrishnan also encouraged students to actively participate in such initiatives and make use of the platform to gain confidence, build expertise, and prepare themselves for future challenges in the IT field. The orientation concluded with an interactive session where students clarified their doubts and expressed interest in enrolling for the courses.
